PRIVACY POLICY

This Privacy Policy explains how I — the solo developer behind LOWKEY AUDIO ("I", "me", "my") — handle information when you visit lowkeyaud.io (the "Site") and when you purchase or use my audio software ("Products"). I keep data collection to the minimum needed to run a small, independent plugin business.

Information I Collect

Information you give me

  • Newsletter sign-ups. If you subscribe, I collect your email address. Sign-ups are handled by my store provider (Gumroad).
  • Support requests. If you email me, I receive your email address and anything you choose to include.

Information collected automatically

  • Usage and log data. The host (Cloudflare) may record standard server logs such as IP address, browser type, referring pages, and timestamps for security and reliability.
  • Cookies and embeds. The Site itself sets no marketing cookies. Embedded media (SoundCloud players, YouTube videos) and the Gumroad checkout may set their own cookies — see "Third-Party Services" below.

Purchases

All purchases are processed by Gumroad, the merchant of record. Gumroad collects your payment details, billing information, and email directly — I never see or store your full payment card data. After a sale, I receive limited order information such as your name, email, and which Product you bought, so I can deliver downloads and provide support.

How I Use Information

  • To deliver Products, license keys, and updates you have purchased.
  • To respond to support requests and communicate about your orders.
  • To send newsletters and release news — only if you opted in (you can unsubscribe anytime).
  • To operate, secure, and improve the Site.
  • To comply with legal and tax obligations.

Data Retention

I keep order and support records only as long as needed to provide support, honor licenses, and meet legal or accounting requirements. Newsletter data is kept until you unsubscribe.

Your Rights

Depending on where you live (for example, under the GDPR or CCPA), you may have the right to access, correct, export, or delete your personal information, and to object to or restrict certain processing. To exercise these rights, email me at support@lowkeyaud.io. Requests relating to payment data may need to be directed to Gumroad as the data controller for that information.

Children's Privacy

The Site and Products are not directed to children under 16, and I do not knowingly collect personal information from them.

International Users

I operate as a small independent business and use providers that may process data in other countries. By using the Site you understand your information may be processed outside your country of residence, with appropriate safeguards in place.

Changes to This Policy

I may update this Policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by the "Last updated" date above. Continued use of the Site after changes means you accept the revised Policy.
