FAQ & SUPPORT

LAST UPDATED: June 17, 2026

Everything you need to get up and running. If your question isn't answered here, email support@lowkeyaud.io and I'll help.

Formats & Compatibility

Which plugin formats are supported?

Most Products ship as VST3 and Standalone, and many also include AU (macOS) and CLAP. The exact formats are listed in the "System Requirements" section of each product page — always check there before buying.

Will it run on my system?

Each product page lists supported operating systems and DAWs. Some Products are Windows-only; this is noted on the page. The plugins are 64-bit and require a VST3- (or AU-) compatible host.

Which DAWs are supported?

Any modern 64-bit host that loads VST3/AU/CLAP — including Ableton Live, Logic Pro, FL Studio, Reaper, Cubase, Studio One, and Bitwig. Standalone builds run without a DAW.

Buying & Downloads

How do I buy?

Click the buy button on any product page. Checkout is handled securely by Gumroad; your download is available immediately after purchase and is also emailed to you.

Where is my download?

Check the confirmation email from Gumroad, or your Gumroad library. If you can't find it, email me with your order number.

Do I need an account or iLok?

No. There's no account, no iLok, and no online activation. You download an installer and you're done.

Installation

How do I install a plugin?

  • Windows: run the installer, or copy the .vst3 to C:\Program Files\Common Files\VST3.
  • macOS: run the installer, or copy the .vst3 to /Library/Audio/Plug-Ins/VST3 and the .component (AU) to /Library/Audio/Plug-Ins/Components.
  • Restart your DAW and rescan your plugins if it doesn't appear immediately.

My DAW doesn't see the plugin.

Trigger a plugin rescan in your DAW's preferences, confirm the file is in the correct folder above, and make sure you installed the format your DAW uses (e.g. AU in Logic). Still stuck? Email support with your OS and DAW.

Licensing & Usage

Can I use a plugin on more than one computer?

Yes — you may install it on machines you own or control as a single user. See the License Agreement for details.

Can I use the sounds in commercial releases?

Absolutely. Anything you make with my plugins is 100% yours, royalty-free. No attribution required.

Are updates free?

Bug fixes and updates within a version are free and delivered through Gumroad. Major new versions may occasionally be offered as separate Products.

Refunds

What's the refund policy?

Because plugins are digital, sales are generally final — but I'll fully refund an unresolved technical defect within 14 days. Try the demos and free editions first. Full details on the Refund Policy page.
