GRANOLA

Overview

GRANOLA brings the Hologram Microcosm’s “play your playing” magic into the DAW. Incoming audio is continuously captured and re-sequenced as micro-loops, granular clouds, shuffled slices or patterned delay taps — all clocked musically to the host, or free-running when you want it. Rather than cloning all 44 hardware modes, it ships a core subset done properly: one flagship effect per Microcosm family, each running into the signature master chain of resonant low-pass filter → delay → lush reverb.

The fourth unit in Collection IV — The Rack Archive; its faceplate is still in calibration.

Features

• Four engines — Mosaic (rhythmic micro-loops), Haze (ambient grain clouds), Blocks (IDM-style glitch slicing) and Pattern (patterned multi-tap delay).
• Signature master chain — Every engine feeds a resonant low-pass filter → delay Repeats → lush Space reverb → Mix.
• Hold & looper — A Hold control freezes the buffer for infinite ambient sustain, plus a phrase looper (up to 60 s, overdub, pre/post-FX routing).
• Pitch & reverse — Octave and fifth Pitch applied to grains and loops, plus a Reverse toggle, all host-synced with full automation.
