Overview

GAIA is an inspired-by, enhanced recreation of the Moog Mother-32 — the beloved semi-modular subtractive voice (oscillator → Moog ladder filter → envelope/VCA) with its hands-on step sequencer and patchbay — with every long-standing fan gap bridged. Unpatched and single-oscillator, it sounds and feels like a Mother-32 from the first note; open it up and it becomes a multi-oscillator, optionally polyphonic instrument with a full multimode filter, two envelopes, multiple synced LFOs and total-recall preset memory.

Features

• Fat Moog voice — Sawtooth/pulse VCO with PWM and glide through the 4-pole Moog ladder filter (self-oscillating LP, the authentic bass-loss character kept), into an AD/ASR envelope and VCA.
• Expanded oscillators — Up to three VCOs with detune/unison, hard sync and FM, plus a dedicated sub-oscillator, blended in a mixer with noise or external input.
• Optional polyphony — A mono↔poly switch: one voice is hardware-faithful mono; up to eight voices for chords and pads.
• Deeper modulation & filter — A second full ADSR, multiple tempo-syncable LFOs, velocity and aftertouch, and a multimode ladder that adds BP and Notch to the classic LP/HP.
• Sequencer, modernized — The hardware’s ratchets, ties and accents plus per-step probability, polyrhythm, pattern chaining, song mode and extended length.
• Preset & patch memory — Total recall of every knob, cable and pattern (the hardware saves only sequences), with factory and community banks, plus onboard drive → delay → reverb.
