Overview

ARIADNE brings the Moog Labyrinth’s parallel-generative philosophy to the DAW: East Coast subtractive synthesis and West Coast wave-shaping living in one polyphonic, semi-modular instrument. Two shift-register sequencers generate melodies and rhythms as separate gate bits and stored pitch CVs, mutating under a Corrupt control — below noon it only re-rolls pitches on active steps; past noon the rhythm bits themselves start to flip. You shape probability, range and scale, not literal notes, and a fully patchable virtual patchbay reroutes everything, because patching is the instrument. Unpatched, the normalled path makes sound immediately, exactly like the hardware.

Features

• Dual generative sequencers — Two shift-register sequencers with Corrupt, Length, Shift and Chain; hand-draw gates and pitches directly on the BITS displays, so generative and step programming share one surface.
• Parallel analog voice — Sine VCO plus triangle Mod VCO with through-zero FM, a saturating mixer, an exact Lockhart wavefolder and a 2-pole state-variable filter with continuous LP↔BP morph.
• Signature ORDER routing — Parallel / Fold→Filter / Filter→Fold signal paths with per-path VCAs and a voltage-controlled Blend crossfade.
• Fully patchable — On-screen draggable virtual patch cables (drag or click to connect, scroll to attenuvert, dashed = inverted) over a hardware-faithful normalled patchbay.
• Beyond the hardware — True polyphony with generative round-robin voices, host tempo sync with a transport-free clock, a 35-preset factory bank with total recall, a dedicated soft LFO, and onboard ping-pong delay into an EMT-style plate.
